MINISTRY UNDER THE MANTLE OF ANOINTING
APOSTLE HENRY AND PAULA ESCOBAR

OUR CREED
Statement of Faith and Fundamental Truths:
The Ministry God Under the Mantle of Anointing believes and upholds the entire Bible,
properly drawn up and that the New Testament is its sole rule of government and
discipline.
The Church of God Under the Mantle of the Anointing has adopted the following Declaration of
Faith as the official banner of its doctrine
1. THE INSPIRATION OF WRITING
The Scriptures, both the Old Testament and the New Testament, are
verbally inspired by God and are God's revelation to man, the rule
infallible and unappealable of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13;
2 Peter 1:21).
2. THE ONLY TRUE GOD
The only true God has revealed himself as the eternally self-existent “I
“I AM,” the creator of heaven and earth and redeemer of humanity. He has revealed himself.
also embodying the principles of relationship and partnership as the Father, the Son, and
the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10,11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22).
3. THE ADORABLE DEITY
a. Definition of terms: The words trinity and persons, according to how they relate
with the Deity, although they are not found in the Bible, they are in harmony with it;
Consequently, we can communicate our understanding to others.
immediate of Christ's doctrine regarding the being of God, as distinguished from
“Many gods and many lords.” Therefore, we can properly speak of
Our Lord God, who is one Lord, as a Trinity or as a Being of
three people, without departing from biblical teachings (for example,
Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 14:16,17).
4. THE DEITY OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
✓ The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. The Bible declares:
✓ His virgin birth (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31, 35).
5. THE FALL OF MAN
Man was created good and righteous; for God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” However, by his own will, humankind fell into transgression, thus suffering not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God (Genesis 1:26, 27; 2:17; 3:6; Romans 5:12-19).
6. THE ORDINANCES OF THE CHURCH
a. Water baptism. The Scriptures establish the ordinance of water baptism by immersion. All who repent and believe in Christ as Savior and Lord must be baptized. In this way, they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4).
7. BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
All believers have the right to receive and should earnestly seek the Father's promise of baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of the Lord Jesus Christ.
This was the normal and common experience of the entire early Christian church. With baptism comes an empowerment for life and service and the bestowal of spiritual gifts and their use in ministry (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4, 8; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31).
8. THE PHYSICAL EVIDENCE OF BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
The baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is evident with the initial physical sign of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives them utterance (Acts 2:4 “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.”). Speaking in tongues in this case is essential, as is the gift of tongues.
9. SANCTIFICATION
Sanctification is an act of separation from all evil and dedication to God (Romans 12:1-2; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 13:12).
10. THE CHURCH AND ITS MISSION
The Church is the body of Christ, the dwelling place of God through the Holy Spirit, with the divine mandate to carry out His great commission. Every believer, born of the Holy Spirit, is an integral part of the general assembly and church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven (Ephesians 1:22-23; 2:22; Hebrews 12:23). “And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.” Ephesians 1:22-23
“In whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God in his Spirit.” Ephesians 2:22
“To the assembly of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven, to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect.” Hebrews 12:23
11. THE MINISTRY
Our Lord has provided a ministry that constitutes a divine calling and is ordained with the fourfold purpose of leading the church in:
12. DIVINE HEALING
Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness
has been provided in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers (Isaiah 53:4, 5; Matthew 8:16, 17; James 5:14-16).
13. THE BLESSED HOPE
The resurrection of those who have died in Christ and their rapture together with those who are alive at the Lord's second coming is the imminent and blessed hope of the Church (1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17; Romans 8:23; Titus 2:13; 1 Corinthians 15:51, 52).
14. THE MILLENNIAL KINGDOM OF CHRIST
The second coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, which is our blessed hope, followed by the visible return of Christ with his saints to reign on the earth for a thousand years (Zechariah 14:5; Matthew 24:27, 30; Revelation 1:7; 19:11–14; 20:1–6).
15. THE FINAL JUDGMENT
There will be a final judgment in which sinners who have died will be resurrected and judged according to their works. Anyone whose name is not found in the Book of Life will be confined to suffer eternal punishment in the lake of fire and sulfur, which is the second death, along with the devil and his angels, the beast, and the false prophet.
(Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; Revelation 19:20; 20:11-15; 21:8)
16. THE NEW HEAVENS AND THE NEW EARTH
“But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells” (2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21 and 22).
“But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.” 2 Peter 3:13
