COMMITMENTS TO OUR MISSION AND VISION

1. PRAYER

We commit to giving prayer the highest priority in the church and demonstrating this by:

✓ Each local church becoming a house of prayer for the nations.

✓ ✓ Emphasize that communion with God is the highest privilege and greatest responsibility of each member.

✓ All church leadership exemplifies a life of active and effective prayer.

✓ Unite with other believers in prayer and intercession (Isaiah 56:7; Mark 11:17; Romans 8:26; 1 Corinthians 14:14-15; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; 1 Timothy 2:1-4, 8; James 5:14-15).

2. PENTECOSTAL WORSHIP

We commit to meeting regularly, as the local expression of the Body of Christ, to participate in worship that exalts God, captivates the heart, mind, and soul, and challenges us to greater commitment and discipleship.

This commitment will be demonstrated by:

✓ Helping local churches plan and prepare for meaningful and anointed worship.

✓ Encouraging all pastors and other leaders to lead vibrant and spiritual worship.

✓ Incorporating various styles and forms of worship that glorify God and encourage evangelism and service.

✓ Emphasizing the importance of biblical stewardship and the centrality of God's Word as elements of worship.

3. WORLD EVANGELISM

We are resolutely committed to reaching those who do not know Christ, baptizing them in water, and urging them to remain in the church. This commitment will be demonstrated by:

✓ Considering the nations of the world as our mission field.

✓ Encouraging every local church to adopt and intercede for an unreached group. All relevant materials and resources will be provided by the Missions Ministry.

✓ Request that all national churches of the Church of God Under the Mantle of the International Anointing adopt and implement measurable steps to evangelize and disciple unreached groups within and beyond their own regions (Matthew 28:18-20; Romans 15:19-24; Revelation 5:9).

4. CHURCH PLANTING

We commit to identifying, training, and providing resources to those called by God to plant churches and start thriving churches.

This commitment will be demonstrated by:

✓ Channeling designated resources from the local church, regional or state offices, and international offices toward planting new churches.

✓ ✓ Initiate the planting of a minimum of 3% (three percent) annually of the total number of churches in a state, region, or nation.

✓ Develop a training program certified by our U.S. Missions Ministry.

✓ Emphasize the health and viability of both new and established churches.

✓ Affirm different models for planting churches in various situations.

✓ Recognize that church planting is an apostolic ministry of our day.

(Matthew 16:18; John 4:35; Acts 2:47; 14:23; Ephesians 5:25-28).

“And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” Matthew 16:18

5. DEVELOPING LEADERS

We are committed to identifying and developing those whom God has called to leadership and challenging them to be servants. We will demonstrate this commitment by:

✓ Creating an environment in which both men and women with ministry gifts can develop
